The Marina Bay Sands is Singapore’s Second Integrated Resort after Resort World Sentosa. This is so far the most expensive resort in the world built at the cost of closed to US$6.3 billion. The Marina Bay Sands resides on prime commercial land in downtown Marina Bay and occupies a land area of about 6 million square feet and boost a hotel with 2,561 rooms. The Resort had a soft opening on April 27 2010 and was officially construction was completed in Feburary 2011. Access to the resort is by public (Bus 97, 106 and 133) or private transport, through the newly opened Bayfront MRT on the Circle Line or by walking through the Helix Bridge.
The Resort World Sentosa is a more family oriented integrated resort, Marina Bay Sands is more business oriented. Marina Bay Sands boost world class eateries, ArtScience museum, Skypark, conventional halls and theater.

There has been significant changes to the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort since I’ve taken these photos in May 2010. I will certainly revisit the resort and update the pictures in the near future.
